Alabama Power Foundation came to Ascension Leadership Academy last month to capture the elementary children singing Christmas songs in a video that was shared with their employees at the holidays.
Terry Smiley, Vice President of the Eastern Division for Alabama Power and in-coming secretary of the Home’s board, introduced the children before they sang an assortment of Christmas songs that were aired as part of Alabama Power’s virtual Christmas program. The company’s more than 6,000 employees watched our children bringing holiday cheer in their Santa hats provided by Alabama Power. Those hats were also worn in the annual Talladega Christmas Parade.
Ascension teacher Angie led the children in singing “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Oh Christmas Tree” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”
