The Presbyterian Home for Children has a box truck and an even larger U-Haul truck and will travel to pick up large donations of unused furniture for our thrift store.
Those donations can help a child in need. Items donated to our PHFC Thrift Store and to the New Purpose Resale Boutique online market that sells high quality donated items at fair prices are turned into proceeds to support the mission of the Presbyterian Home for Children, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
First Presbyterian Church of Cullman conducted a special drive in July to collect furniture and other thrift store items for the Home, and we came to Cullman with a truck to pick up the donated items. Perhaps your church could do the same!
“Collecting items to support the Presbyterian Home for Children is just another way our members can demonstrate the Scripture in Romans 8:28: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose,” Pastor David Palmer said.
