The Presbyterian Home for Children has added three members to its staff.
Bridgette Jacobs is the Home’s new Human Resources/Accreditation Manager. A graduate of The University of Alabama, Jacobs has extensive experience in health care management in physician offices and a rehabilitation center.
Carl G. Martin has been named the Home’s Manager of Development and Donor Relations. He comes to the Home with customer service and administrative experience in the retail and insurance industries. After graduating from Birmingham Southern, Martin attended the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary, and he provides pastoral support and preaches in Presbyterian Churches in the Presbytery of the Sheppards and Lapsley. He is also a member of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra Chorus.
Ashley Burkhalter has joined the Presbyterian Home for Children as manager of the Thrift Store.
The Oxford native previously worked as an Event Coordinator planning camps for a local religious organization. She also has seven years of nonprofit hospitality experience.
