PHFC releases ‘The Journey’ history book
For more than 158 years, the Presbyterian Home for Children has been changing lives and now that story has been captured in a new book.
The Journey continues the story first told by Dr. Allen Jacobs, the eighth president in the Home’s beloved “Blue Book,” and chronicles our history from 1964 through today. Filled with inspiring stories, historic photographs, and milestones from six decades of ministry, the book celebrates the children, families, staff, supporters, and churches who have shaped our mission.
From caring for orphaned children after the Civil War to helping families find stability and hope today, God’s faithfulness can be seen on every page.
