The Presbyterian Home for Children recently was awarded designations from GuideStar and Great Nonprofits, agencies that gather information on nonprofits for community research.
Earning these designations will help expand the Home’s reach and provide donors and foundations with key information about what makes our mission so important to the community.
These designations follow the Home’s reaccreditation by the EAGLE Accreditation Commission in early August.
GreatNonprofits is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit organization that provides a website where donors, volunteers, and clients can review and share personal experiences with charitable organizations, essentially providing crowdsourced information about the reputability of these organizations.
