Ascension Leadership Academy’s elementary school has been recognized as an Imagine Nation Schools of Excellence award recipient, a distinction awarded to fewer than 300 schools nationwide for outstanding implementation of educational technology and student learning programs.
The private school ministry of the Presbyterian Home for Children received the Schools of Excellence Award from Imagine Learning, the nation’s leading provider of PreK-12 curriculum solutions, for its exceptional use of the Imagine MyPath program during the 2025-2026 school year. ALA’s high school won the honor in 2024.
This year, only 293 schools across the country received the recognition out of more than 42,000 eligible schools. The award honors schools that demonstrate exceptional commitment to supporting student growth through effective implementation of Imagine Learning programs.
At Ascension Leadership Academy, Imagine MyPath is used to provide personalized learning opportunities that help students strengthen skills, close learning gaps, and progress at their own pace. The program’s adaptive learning technology allows educators to tailor instruction to each student’s individual needs while tracking academic growth throughout the year.
“We are honored to receive this national recognition,” said Linda Harris, Education Director for Ascension Leadership Academy. “Our teachers work diligently every day to provide students with individualized instruction and the tools they need to succeed. This award reflects the dedication of our staff and the hard work of our students as they strive for academic excellence.”
According to Imagine Learning, extensive research has shown that consistent program use and strong implementation practices are directly linked to improvements in student achievement. The Imagine Nation Awards recognize schools and districts that go above and beyond to ensure students receive the maximum benefit from the educational solutions they have adopted.
“What stands out most about this year’s honorees is not just what they’re using, but how they’re using it,” said Kinsey Rawe, Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Imagine Learning. “We’re incredibly proud to celebrate these schools and districts — they’ve put in the work to implement with intention and consistency, and it’s making a real difference for students. Their success shows what’s possible when strong instruction, high-quality curriculum, and actionable insight come together in the classroom.”
Ascension Leadership Academy serves students in K-12 grades through small class sizes, personalized instruction, and a nurturing learning environment designed to help every child reach their full potential. The national recognition further highlights the school’s commitment to academic excellence and innovative approaches to student learning.
As part of the honor, Ascension Leadership Academy will receive a commemorative banner recognizing its achievement as one of the nation’s top-performing schools in implementing Imagine Learning programs.
The award serves as another example of the school’s ongoing commitment to preparing students for success both in the classroom and beyond.
