The Lifesaving Summit, an annual event founded by Brady B. McLaughlin, is dedicated to propelling the CPR+AED industry forward by gathering CPR+AED business leaders, CPR instructors, and key stakeholders in sudden cardiac arrest prevention and response to strengthen the Chain of Survival in communities across the United States. McLaughlin emphasized the importance of the donation, stating, “Having a lifesaving AED that is ready and compliant makes the difference during any sudden cardiac arrest emergency. We are so thankful to partner with GoRescue, ZOLL, HSI, and AED365 to place this lifesaving system with PHFC to help support their mission to care for families in need.”
The Presbyterian Home for Children, a historic institution founded in 1868, has been a sanctuary for Alabama’s most vulnerable children and families for over 150 years. PHFC provides a safe and stable environment, educational support, and residential programs to those in need. This AED donation enhances the home’s safety measures, ensuring that its staff, residents, and visitors are prepared to respond effectively in a cardiac emergency.
The Lifesaving Summit’s staff members were present at the ceremony, marking the significance of this initiative and underscoring their mission to strengthen emergency readiness across communities. By combining resources with GoRescue Brands, ZOLL Public Safety, and HSI, the Lifesaving Summit aims to create sustainable and impactful partnerships with organizations like PHFC, enabling them to prioritize health and safety for those they serve.
