At the Fall 2025 Board of Trustees meeting on October 14, the Presbyterian Home for Children presented its 2025 Legacy of Love Award to Ted and Marcia Autterson, recognizing their dedication and service to the Home.
Ted’s time with the Home spans years of impact and leadership. From his first campus visit, his passion for PHFC’s mission has been evident. Beginning as a donor and volunteer, his commitment and heart helped make him an invaluable member of the Board of Trustees.
“Ted, you’ve been here from the beginning – as a volunteer, a board member, and a friend,” said President Doug Marshall during the presentation. “This Home is better because of you. You are a model trustee, and we are so thankful for your faith and love for this ministry.”
Board Moderator Rev. Brandon Miles added, “You’re an inspiration to all of us. I can’t imagine my time on the board without your guidance and example. This Home transforms lives because of people like you who show us how to serve together.”
As Ted completes his term on the board, we celebrate both him and Marcia for representing the mission of Christ-centered care that has defined PHFC for more than 157 years. Their legacy will continue on with every life touched by the Home.
